Creating Herds
Herds help you group animals together for easier management and tracking. Learn how to create and organize herds in FarmFlo.
What is a Herd?
A herd is a group of animals that you manage together. Herds can be organized by:
- Species or breed (e.g., "Angus Cattle", "Sheep Flock")
- Purpose (e.g., "Breeding Stock", "Market Animals")
- Age group (e.g., "Calves 2024", "Yearlings")
- Location (e.g., "North Pasture Herd")
- Any other grouping that makes sense for your operation
