Equipment
Keep track of all your ranch equipment, from tractors to tools. FarmFlo helps you manage maintenance schedules and service history.
Adding Equipment
- Navigate to the Equipment section from the sidebar
- Click the Add Equipment button
- Enter the equipment details:
- Name (e.g., "John Deere 5075E")
- Type (tractor, trailer, ATV, tool, etc.)
- Serial number or ID
- Purchase date and cost (optional)
- Upload a photo (optional but helpful)
- Click Save
Equipment Details You Can Track
- Identification: Name, serial number, model, manufacturer
- Purchase info: Date acquired, purchase price, vendor
- Status: Active, in repair, retired, sold
- Location: Where the equipment is currently stored
- Documents: Manuals, warranties, receipts
- Notes: Any additional information
Maintenance Tracking
Keep your equipment running smoothly with maintenance tracking:
- Log service and maintenance activities
- Record oil changes, repairs, and part replacements
- Track hours or mileage
- Set reminders for upcoming maintenance
- Keep a complete service history
Tips for Equipment Management
- Add photos to help identify equipment quickly
- Include serial numbers for warranty and insurance purposes
- Log maintenance immediately after it's done
- Attach receipts and invoices for record-keeping
- Set up recurring maintenance reminders
