Data Export
Your data is yours. FarmFlo makes it easy to export all your ranch data whenever you need it — for backups, analysis, or sharing with others.
Exporting Your Data
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click the Export Data tab
- Select your export format (JSON or CSV)
- Click Export All Data
- Download the file when ready
Export Formats
- JSON: Complete data export including all relationships. Best for backups or importing into other systems.
- CSV: Spreadsheet-friendly format with separate files for animals, equipment, tasks, etc. Great for analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
What's Included
The full export includes all your ranch data:
- Ranch information and settings
- All animals with health records
- Herds and pastures
- Equipment and maintenance history
- Tasks and assignments
- Notes and documents
- Contacts
Your Privacy Rights
Under California privacy law (CCPA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we collect
- Request a copy of your data (export)
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of data sales (we don't sell your data)

Tips
- Export regularly for backup purposes
- Use CSV format for sharing specific data with your accountant or vet
- JSON exports can be large — they include everything
- Exported files don't include uploaded images (download separately)
