Mobile & Offline
FarmFlo is designed for use in the field. Install it on your phone for quick access, and work offline when you don't have signal.
Installing on iPhone
- Open Safari and go to farmflo.app
- Log in to your account
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add to confirm
FarmFlo will now appear on your home screen like a native app.
Installing on Android
- Open Chrome and go to farmflo.app
- Log in to your account
- Tap the menu (three dots) in the top right
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen
- Tap Install to confirm
Working Offline
FarmFlo works even when you don't have internet:
- View all your animals, herds, and pastures
- Add new animals and update existing records
- Create tasks and notes
- Log treatments and medical events
- Take photos (saved locally until sync)
How Syncing Works
When you're back online, FarmFlo automatically:
- Uploads any changes you made offline
- Downloads changes made by team members
- Syncs photos and documents
- Merges changes intelligently (no data loss)
A sync indicator in the app shows when syncing is in progress.
Tips for Mobile Use
- Open the app when you have signal to sync before going to the field
- Use the camera feature to quickly add photos to records
- Enable notifications to get reminders about upcoming tasks
- The app works best in portrait mode on phones
- Larger screens (tablets) give you the full desktop experience
